Firstly, the chair is smaller than expected. It is water proof and would be great for the outdoor. I may move it outside once it warms up here.The cushion color is a warm light grey. The papasan itself is metal and wire that is a wood tone made to look like whicker. It's a very pleasing look, I love its eclectic feel.It rocks slightly back and forth with springs, and does swivel.The cushion was stuffed well and feels thick. It's comfortable to sit in. I love that I can wipe small spills off it since it's water proof.The cushion came with two areas to attach it to the metal frame and it looks and sits nicely. The cushion did have a large tag on it you have to cut off close to the seam if you don't want it sticking out like and eye sore. I cut mine but if you look you can still seethe remnants of it since it's hard to remove.No one can tell that it's originally for outdoor use, but my friend did immediately notice how it was smaller than the original papasan size chair. Its not super small, just think reduced size. It fits my living room nicely even with the size discrepancy.Edit: after having it about 2 months the chair has broken, still completely usable though. A 200 pound man sat on it and I heard a loud crack and pop. It still swivels but no longer rocks. I don't really know where it broke, and since I can still sit in it I don't really mind. It was just a concerning noise and shocking that a grown man can't sit in the chair.After sitting in it for less than a year it has worn it's self out and broken in several places. I can't recommend purchasing this product if that as long as it was meant to last. We were not rough with it and we are average size people. Super disappointed over all with the chair after having it for such a short time and spending as much as I did on it.
